As well as treading the boards and singing with the band Nicola loves yoga, gourmet cooking, gardening, walking, cycling & camping. She is also currently learning to drive, to save poor Colin always having to be the designated driver. Nicola says ‘I have always loved singing so it’s really fantastic being able to perform with Nite-Talk, at weddings, parties & clubs alike’, ‘I have made some fantastic friends throughout my time with the band, its great meeting new people and so satisfying to perform and make their night one to remember for the rest of their lives’. |

Colin was born in Edinburgh & spent the first 11 years of his life living in Galashiels, before moving to Berwick upon Tweed. He has always loved music and was professionally trained on the keyboards in his early teens, before forming Nite-Talk in 1985. Since then it’s been on the road with the band performing at functions throughout the Scottish Borders, North Northumberland & beyond. He spends a big part of his spare time in his home studio (see picture), getting new songs in for the band and rehearsing with Nicola. He also enjoys, walking cycling & camping. His other big love in life is photography; in fact he took most of the photographs for the website. This is a very enjoyable and therapeutic hobby that takes you to some of the most beautiful spots in our local area. Colin says ‘I’ve always loved music, I love the excitement of putting a new song together, then performing it live’, ‘ Its great being able to go out there and perform our music and just a bonus that Nicola and I do this together, we keep each other right and have a lot of fun performing together’. |
